DropReady Privacy Policy

DropReady is designed as a local-first macOS alert and study planning utility.

Data Collection

DropReady does not collect, sell, or share personal information. Alerts, study plans, settings, history, and selected actions are stored locally on your Mac.

Network Activity

DropReady does not use a DropReady backend service or perform tracking, analytics, or scraping. When an alert opens a URL, your selected browser handles that page. When an alert starts a Shortcut, Apple's Shortcuts app handles that workflow.

User-Selected Files and Actions

DropReady may store references to files, apps, shortcuts, email drafts, timers, focus sessions, routines, or calendar events that you choose for an alert. These references and activity names are used only to perform the alert action you configured.

Study Plans, Music, and Calendar Export

Smart Study Plan estimates are calculated on your Mac from the information you enter. If you enable Study Companion, MusicKit communicates with Apple's Music service to request access, load playlists and albums from your Apple Music library, and play the item you select. DropReady stores only the selected source type, Apple Music identifier, display name, shuffle setting, and loop setting with the plan on your Mac.

If you export a study plan, DropReady writes a standard .ics file only to the location you choose. DropReady does not access or modify your calendar directly.
